Ibo Gold Player is designed to stay fluid on small TV boxes with little memory. A few settings help it make the most of your device.
4K items: smooth or sharp
In Settings → Player & subtitles → 4K channels, choose Smooth on smaller boxes (fluid playback comes first) or Quality on powerful devices (complete, sharp pictures first). Results depend on the device and the connection.
Hardware decoding
Leave hardware decoding on: your TV box decodes the picture itself and the app uses far less power. Turn it off only if one item shows a green or frozen picture.
Buffer
In Settings → Player & subtitles → Buffer size, a larger buffer keeps more of the video in memory and can help with short connection drops. It also uses more memory, so keep it small on boxes with little memory.
Keep the box light
- Restart the box once a week.
- Hide the categories you never watch in Settings → Hide categories: lists open faster.
- Use a network cable or 5 GHz Wi-Fi when you can.
Tip · Settings → Player & subtitles → Connection test shows the real speed of your playlist and what it allows.
